Arizona is known for its trophy bull elk hunting. The genetics within our herds are absolutely incredible and second to none! Because of this, it can be difficult to draw permits for hunting elk in Arizona, but not impossible.
We offer several options for hunting elk. We hunt a wide variety of terrain for elk in multiple units throughout northern AZ.
Bull elk hunts:
- Early archery (September)
- Early rifle (Sept/Oct)
- Muzzleloader (Sept/Oct)
- Late rifle (Nov/Dec)
- Late archery (November)
Cow elk hunts:
- We offer many options for antlerless elk hunts for rifle, muzzleloader, and archery with multiple seasons running from early October until the end of December. These permits are much easier to draw. Contact us, and we can discuss options and dates.
Some of these hunts require 2-8 miles of hiking each day in rough, steep Arizona terrain. Spot & stalk is our primary method of hunting elk in Arizona, though in some cases we use ground blinds over water sources when necessary.
Whether you have already drawn one of these coveted elk tags, would like to apply for one, or would like more information, please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
