Arizona Coues Deer Hunts

We offer many opportunities to pursue Coues whitetail deer across the entire state of Arizona. Rifle and muzzleloader permits for hunting Coues deer are obtained through a draw system through the Arizona game and fish department.

However, don’t be discouraged, MANY hunts in MANY great units offer very good draw odds for both resident as well as non-resident applicants with few, to no bonus points at all.

Arizona offers some of the best OTC (over the counter) archery Mule deer hunting opportunities in the west!! These permits are available for purchase (online only) beginning at midnight on December 1 for the following year. For example, if you have an OTC archery mule deer hunt booked with us in 2024, you will need to purchase your permit on December 1, 2023. These permits sell out quickly, so don't delay! Fully Outfitted Hunts

We offer 5 day, 7, 10 and 14 day fully outfitted hunts. This means you will get 5-14 FULL days of hunting. You will arrive to camp the day before your contracted hunt date, and depart the day after.
Fully outfitted hunts include airport pickup and drop off, in field transportation for the duration of your hunt, lodging, meals, beverages (non alcoholic), snacks, in field game care - including pack out, caping, skinning, and quartering of your game.

Guided Only Hunts

We offer 5, 7, 10 and 14 day guided only hunts. This means you will get 5 - 14 FULL days of hunting. You will arrive the day before your hunt, and depart the day after.
Guided only hunts do not include airport transportation.
Hunter is responsible for their own lodging, meals, beverages, and snacks.
In field transportation and game care is included with our guided only rates.

***Whether you choose Fully Outfitted or Guided Only, you are responsible for your transportation to and from Phoenix, AZ. You are also responsible for shipping your game meat and trophy, as well as your AZ hunting license and game permit.***

Our Coues deer hunts take place in terrain with wide open, sand wash filled, Sonoran desert type terrain, on up to high country pines, and juniper country.

With most of our hunts you can expect primarily spot and stalk type hunting, hours of glassing with high power binoculars. Coues Whitetail Deer hunting in Arizona is a truly unique hunt. These "grey ghosts" have a very diverse span of territory and terrain, ranging from low elevation, mesquite filled desert flats, all the way up to high elevation juniper and pine covered mountains. Because of this, hunters need to be prepared for, at times, a very physically demanding hunt. Though "coues country" can be rough, harvesting one of these elusive animals will be one of the most rewarding hunts of your life!
